Well they decided to have us now log in on a computer on machine set ups and amount of parts

made.Alot of us were really pissed off because they keep on changing the routine on how to log

in and record the times on set ups etc etc etc.

The one thing is that everything was fine in the first place,I think the owner sometimes a moron

since he has never worked in a mfg enviroment at all.This now IMO slows production and even my boss agreed

with everyone on this issue.considering there has to be a better way to go about this

without upseting everyone in the shop.To me its a P.I.T.A it was so much better to just write

everything down,I wonder what they will do if the sysem crashes or some damn virus gets in,I guess they

will find out the hard way since they are still getting the bugs out of the system already in the first place.

Sounds like the waste of time things they make us do at my job too. We use A/S 400 RA Guns to scan and log all the jobs our employees do but they want us to have them write them down on a log sheet too.

Right now they're real big on Production Inhibitors. They want us to stop and write down anything that disturbs the flow of work. Most of the time though this act alone is an inhibitor because instead of quickly solving the problem, I have to instead write it all down.
