Homicidalheathen Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 Last night someone went through the drive through at my kids work and his credit card didn't work. So I have a huge bag of free taco bell in the fridge. Oh yes.
Homicidalheathen Posted December 11, 2006 Author Posted December 11, 2006 Not even sure I believe this ecoli scare thing but wonder what it will do to Taco Bells buisness what with Del Taco around now. What a good idea.....Tacos AND fries. Yup competition.
Hellion Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 I love Taco Bell but minus the E coli. If Taco Bell ain't bad enough on the human body, yeah just add E-coli!!!I'll pass
Fierce Critter Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 Not much on leftover Taco bell. I don't like soggy tortillas. But lately, I've been rediscovering the wonders of a simple crunch taco - no sour cream, no tomatoes - just meat, lettuce, cheese & sauce. Nummy.

celestial Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 the crunch wrap is the best invention ever if only it wasnt the lowest grade of beef money can buy.
Velvet Tears Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 I like the Tostada's. I remember they took them off the menu a couple of years ago and then they suddenly reappeared on the menu this past year. They're not as tastey as they were before they took them off the menu, but they are still good. Does anyone else notice how the size of the pinto n cheese keeps decreasing or is it just me?
pharoh Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Not much on leftover Taco bell. I don't like soggy tortillas. I know I am late for a response, but soggy tortillas just sounds so.....dirty
creatureofthenyte Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Taco bell is the world's best tasting laxative ! Eat one meal there and a little while later, your tummy will be cleared out cleaner then its ever been....
Homicidalheathen Posted December 13, 2006 Author Posted December 13, 2006 They are skimping on the cheese now for sure. I like the Tostada's. Dollardave Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 I was a vegan vegetarian for 17 years and did mulitple animal rights rallies. Even got a ticket b4 for wearing a mask in public. Anyways I used to eat so much taco bell b4 that I avoid it now totally.
HipsterDufus Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 They are skimping on the cheese now for sure. I'll second that. Everything seems like a giant tortilla with very little filling. I still enjoy it though, just not as much as "back in the day".
Klaus Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 I like Toxic Hell. However i would rather go to Big Ten Burrito, they have better food, a little more green, but i got a Chimi that was... hall huge as fuck. it was almost a foot long by maybe 6inches wide mmmmm
torn asunder Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Even got a ticket b4 for wearing a mask in public. really!? why don't people get tickets for wearing costumes on halloween?? know what? nevermind...
Fierce Critter Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 My first-ever job was Taco Bell. I only lasted a month before multiple injuries made me quit. <-- pauses to let that sink in As for getting things that "used to be" on the menu, for the most part, if they've made it before, you can still get it. All you have to do is ask, and more often than not, they'll be willing and able to make something that isn't standard on the menu anymore, because the majority of their items are made up from the same basic ingredients. Case in point: Encherito. For years, they were off the menu. But you could still ask for them. They might still be off the menu today, but I get one on a very occasional basis. 'Course they don't make them with corn tortillas anymore, and they're not as good. <-- knows way more about Taco Bell than she cares to admit to
Fierce Critter Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Oh, one thing I miss. Remember the "Taco Light"? It was your basic taco, but made with a shell that was very similar to the flaky flat that the pizzas are made on today. They weren't low in calorie, just lighter to the touch. My mother loved them, and I kinda liked them, too.
