The West Coast Sure Is Getting Hammered

Washington State and Oregon had some of the worst storms in years,considering the amount of damage and power outages,my cousin and his wife just moved from California to Washington state,so hopefully they are OK,

Over a million people are without power due to 90+mph winds.what a mess.

It was pretty windy here in San Francisco, nothing too serious though, a couple of large tree limbs here and there. I love going to the ocean when it's like this though. The waves are HUGE!

I think most folks in California are used to rolling power outages though... not from the weather, from the regular energy crisis going on.

I was always lucky when I stayed with my dad, his house was on the same power grid as the local hospital so we never got rolling blackouts.

I find it amusing sometimes when people complain about power outages when there are other places (even states in our own country) that deal with not having power on a regular basis.
