Epic_Fail_Guy Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 stuffing my face, because after my workout & run tonight, i realized i was over 900 calories short for the day! how the fuck did i get through my workout & run!? because usually, even without fat, your body has spare energy to burn like you wouldn't believe! With the right mental state, it is extremely unbelievable exactly what conditions your body can endure! But you did the right thing, replenishing your calorie intake AFTER your workout. Carbs work best in this, along with protien. After a workout is when your body is like, gimme gimme, and gimme NOW!!! It doesn't matter what you really eat at this point, your body will take that and use it to repair what you just ripped to shit in a vigorous workout. However, obvously, healthier foods will be easier for your body to do it's repair work after a workout.
