And, it was hard to watch Dan Rather say his final goodnight. I always enjoyed watching him. This is something I never thought I would say about the news: I enjoyed watching the news because of Dan Rather.

I know what you're saying, TD. I just feel like I grew up with him. There were lots of light moments as well as heavy stuff.

You know have to agree with both of you on this one. He did share his political views a bit too much for a news caster, but he was; like Tom Brokow, a staple in the business of broadcast news.

I never really started watching him until I married my wife but I grew up on Brokow and NBC news. These two men, in my opinion were cut from the same mold.

I don't know, he will be missed.
