Msterbeau Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 I don't care much for professional sports, nor do I care much about the athletes. Frankly I don't get watching them. I'd much rather play. Part of the distaste I have centers around the fact that many of these people are spoiled brats. And they don't seem disinclined to prove this wrong. Further, the media seems to focus on them only when they do "bad" stuff, which just reinforces my opinion. So this morning I listened to a story about the Sports Humanitarian Hall of Fame. Even though I knew that not all athletes were jerks, it's nice to see that those that make meaningful contributions to society-at-large get recognized. http://www.sportshumanitarian.com/
