What A Christmas I Will Have

At 8:43 this morning, I was riding the bus home, unaware that this world lost a truely great man and someone that even though I never really talked with or went to see (which I know is wrong and I wish I could have changed that with the time I had with him) He was my grandfather. He past away from a kiddney failure. He had been committed to the hospital due to blood pressure problems and such. He was a truely great man for he took great care of my Nana by suppling her with all the financial needs she could need and loving her to his final breath.

He was a man who spoke his word and was a character. He was quite and when to look at him he would seem to be one of those grumpy old man but deep down he had a heart.

You will be missed Grandad.

(I had to type it somewhere and I thought this would be the best spot, he always did support my choices to be who I am today. I just hope I could be as good of a man as he was.)

I know how it is, i lost a grandmother on one side and a grandfather on the other. its a splendid post. and my sincerest condolences as well.

Thanks all, I am feeling much better now that I have time to think about it and well, get some sleep. Friday is the wake and sat is the funeral, I don't know if I am going to those. I have been to too many in my life and it sickens me to go to another.

I hear ya. I have been thinking about Grandma allot this week (lost her this month a few yrs ago) and the Father in Law (lost in Feb a couple yrs ago)

Winter is death....and takes many lives.
