What I don't get is Richards calls a black person a nigger and everyone is up in arms over it calling him racist. Yet Chris Rock has a major portion of his act calling white people crackers and he gets nothing but laughs and support. Maybe it's if you're offended by racist terms than you're the racist and not the person using those words. Or maybe it's because Chris Rock is actually funny and Richards is a dumb ass.

there wouldn't have been such a shitstorm if richards had just said,

"look, they pissed me off, so i chose something i thought would be the most likely to really piss them off! it was intentional, i'm not racist, and i don't have any deep-seated issues. i just reacted in a way that said basically, "well, they hurt me with their heckling, so i'll hurt them by being obnoxious as well".

this whole thing would have blwon over by this point if he had. and don't get me started on the whole "we can do it, but you can't" bullshit...
