List a few to a dozen of artist's that you have never seen in concert but hope that you will someday, at least once in your lifetime -- or thiers, but have always dreamed of seeing them since you were a teenager or for atleast 20 yrs. Here's a dozen off of the top of my head.

1. Rush

2. AC-DC

3. Monster Magnet

4. Iron Maiden

5. Alice Cooper

6. Led Zepplin

7. Aerosmith

8. Dio

9. The Cure

10. Depech Mode

11. The Smith

12. Pink Floyd

Smiths would be on my list, but I thought this was for bands that were still together (or would ever feasibly regroup). I have a crapload of bands I'd love to see but never will.

Edit: wait...I did kinda see Leonard Cohen live, as in, I saw him on a stage and he sang a song or three...but it wasn't a concert for him, so it doesn't count.

I'm pretty sure it is... but one can dream.

I saw Skid Row a few times with the orginal line up and a few times since with that fag Johnny Solinger. Anyway, my favorite time by far was a pre release gig for Slave to the Grind at the old Ritz in Roseville.

That show was fucking amazing! I didn't know any of the songs because the cd wasn't released yet but I knew it was going to be a killer album and the place was packed, mosh pit, crazyness, awesome awesome show.

Does this have to be artists that it's still possible to see? Or can we include deceased/no longer performing acts?

For the first category: Metallica (HUGE fan but everytime I'm supposed to see them something comes up to prevent it), Nick Cave, Megadeth, Marz.

For the latter: Jimi Hendrix, Sly & the Family Stone, Janis Joplin.

I have seen lots of artists on other people's lists (Radiohead, David Bowie, the Cramps, Nick Cave, the Cure). This makes me feel guilty and privileged at the same time.

Oh, but Depeche Mode is on my list, too. Last few times they came through I was either poor or...well, mostly poor.

Placebo, too. I got into them right after they came to Detroit a few years ago, and they haven't been back.

well, i've seen sloan, muse, and semisonic, and if i hadn't, they'd have been on my list, so i'm not doing too bad so far...

Only ones I've seen are Black Flag & X... guess I better get busy!
