Head Wreck Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 he cant help it, his heads attached to his body
Gaf The Horse With Tears Posted February 14, 2007 Author Posted February 14, 2007 I was in the Army for 8 years. I only have one real life friend who isn't ex-military. Maybe you should read more carefully. BF was the one insulting the people in the military, not me. I have never called anyone in the military a coward. Never even hinted it. I said and will again, that the ones who joined the military and were shocked when they found out that they may actually have to fight in a war are stupid. Yes, many types of people join for many different reasons, but like all things, some people do it for stupid reasons.

machine Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 New Orleans is still a fucked mess, the economy is on a downward spiral, and there's american's suffering, the blood of the country... the common american citizen... We have our own problems to take care of... we need to stop worrying about Iraq and take care of ourselves. And besides, Iraq was just a half assed lie just so bush and his buddies could get filthy rich by bankrupting our country. While the majority of your post is left-wing propaganda and opinions, these few things I had just a small problem with. New Orleans IS fucked. A fucking HURRICANE DESTROYED the entire city. You can't wave a magic wand and make it all better. The Mayor there is doing a bang up job rebuilding his "chocolate city". Racist. But he is a black man, so calling him a racist is racist itself. And me saying that makes me a racist. And that too... and some how, that statement as well in today's PC world... that too. COME AND GET ME ACLU. The economy in New Orleans IS on a downward spiral. The rest of the country is doing amazing compared to 2002/03, right after the immediate financial effects of September 11th occurred. If you live outside of Michigan and Virginia (both states governed by Democrats for more than 1 term) your outlook on the country's economy is totally the opposite of yours... unless you are a fascist that believes that nothing a Republican does is valid... which is the clear impression you give from your post. There are certainly alot of things happening surrounding Iraq to make it look as if that The President did this for only financial gain. But anyone that has either been to the country (like myself... for 11 months) or is not wearing a tin-hat and sending Michael Moor fan mail has enough common sense to know that the idea of "wag the dog" is not realistic. Not in this sort of setting anyway. There is plenty more of your post that can be picked apart and responded to... but I am very new here. Until I can really feel the waters here and know what and who I am surrounded by, there is no point in my doing so. I am sure there are a few people that are not going to appreciate my post, and since I am new here, I will get bashed and flamed and all that jazz... labled a God loving, baby killing Republican. Which I am not. Before you respond and ASSume you know me just because I SOUND like a Republican.. heres a bit about me. I am 23years old. I am in the military. I believe that people can love whoever they want to love. A women has a right to choose, and if you want to protest and complain about the government, I will not call you anti-patriotic. I support freedom of love, speech, happiness, and the FREEDOM of FREEDOM. I totally support going country to country and promoting the idea of Democracy. As do hard line Democrats. Democrats and Liberals are similar.. but they are not the same. I am not a Democrat. I am NOT a Liberal. I am not a neo-con, and I am not a centrist. I am a Responsible Patriot with the will and love for my country to do whatever it takes to get the job done the American way. Quitting in Iraq is not going to help us at all. I would LOVE to get into how the media is completely lieing about the progress in Iraq, but this post has already gone long enough. We can get into that if you want.... Just remember when posting opinion, being anti-government is not being individualistic... it's following a trend... today more than ever.
