Dita is a far cry from a titty dancer in some seedy strip club.

I consider her work art. I have a great love of vintage erotica (some may call it porn but I feel there is a huge difference between porn and erotica).

I also love dark, gothy erotica in the style of Amelia G. and Forrest Black. It's a beautiful, fascinating genre.

Here's my thing:

A) there has allready been a Bettie Page. Dita reminds me of cheap Madonna doing Marilyn.

B) She joined forces with Mr. Manson - who to me, is nothing BUT product, hype, and has been. I dont dispute the differences (opinions vary) between porn and erotica - but I always get suspiscious of intent when something becomes a rather obvious counter-culture "Icon", I tend to view it as a manufactured thing designed for hype, which is how I see Manson: hype, product, plastic, bullshit, something allready done to death by both Nietzsche AND Alice Cooper and even Blackie Lawless back in the day. So in watching the pairing of the two, I tend to view them under the same light. If she is truly an artist, I have a hard time seeing it thru the Manson Machine.
