Black Silk Roses

I want to get my niece black silk roses for Valentines Day. Found a place online but they want $48 + shipping. Would like to find someplace local that is a little cheaper.

I actually find Amazon.com has good prices and a good selection of fabric flowers. If I'm reading this right, it's $12.99 for 84 flowers! I don't know what you'd do with 84 of them but I'd buy a dozen or two off you for a few bucks.

Michael's indeed had black roses the last time I was there and paying attention.

There's a place on 10 mile, a block or so east of Van Dyke (I don't know if you are familiar with that area), called Discount Crafter's Warehouse..or something like that. They have black roses and pretty much anything else you can think of.

Try Hobby Lobby if they have those down there... I'm told they carry every kind of craft item imaginable.

I checked out the JoAnne's on Outer Drive & Southfield today, and they had nary a black flower 'tall.

They dont' even sell the stuff to make your own.

There is a gigantic craft place on Schaefer somewheres north of Michigan Avenue in Dearborn. Go north on Schaefer and keep your eyes peeled to your left. I haven't been there in a while, but I do believe they are still open. It's similar to what Bean describes, but a lot closer to home for you.

I went to Michaels and picked up 18 black silk roses. Going to make her a bouquet and get a few more and hand some out to the ladies of DGN as I see them.
