Well... If one wishes to be treated with respect... er...

Basically if you are a woman and believe in equal rights, then gender should not be a factor in any way when this type of thing comes up... if one part of the couple decides to be nice that's great, it need not be gender specific... When I go out an get food for Rayne... usually it's because I want to do something nice, not because she has girl parts, or can produce breast milk... She has done the same for me in the past...

Also usually when I get home, I am still dressed from work and she has often changed into PJ's... and it just makes more sense...

However, if you do believe in the Old Days... well then the benefits of equal rights are forfit... you get your slushy.... and you don't get paid as much and don't get to vote....

This is an extreme example I know... and men and women are different, but the expectation that the man has to do this... is where the problem is...

god it's just a big gulp... if i had a girl, i'd have no problem doing small favors like that all the time, it's just a nice thing to do, if i'm with her, that means i love her, and if i love her, that means I should like doing little favors like that just to see her smile.
