I went on the road with Jon all day today. No time to get to any Polish bakery.

This is the first Fat Tuesday I've been without paczki, not counting NC (nothing about NC counts - ever).

Our first stop was the studios of WJLB radio in the Penobscot building downtown. They had about 8 boxes of paczki - Farmer Jack gave them to them - and they gave us an entire box.

But we didn't touch a single one. We know our paczki. FJ "doughnuts" can go to hell. Or to North Carolina. Same difference.

Not a single paczki for us.

I can go a few blocks over to Vinewood and get some any time of year, though. So no biggie.

I just didnt' feel like any. I need a Polska revival methinks.

i wanted one and didn't think i would get one. i haven't had one in about 6 years and was giving up that i would get one again. i'm too lazy to venture out on my own to get one and usually wait for someone to bring one to me and then i got one! it was so good. i don't think i ever ate one so fast in my life.
