Blackmail Posted February 19, 2007 Posted February 19, 2007 Since 2007 started I've been buying CD's like crazy. This is what I have got and I've rated them on a scale of 1-10......many people here like the same music as me, PM me if you want to borrow some tunes. VNV Nation: Burning Empires (9 out of 10) Apoptygma Berzerk: The Black EP (8 out of 10) Covenant: Brave New World CD Single (5 out of 10) Cesum_137: Intelligent Design (7 out of 10) Haujobb: Vertical Theory (7 out of 10) Seabound: Double Crosser (5 out of 10 MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT) [sITD]: Odyssey (6 out of 10) VNV Nation: PAST PERFECT DVD (9 out of 10) Bruderschaft: Forever CD Single (9 out of 10) Depeche Mode: Best of (7 out of 10) New Order: Singles (8 out of 10) Mozart: Piano Concertos - BMG - GEZA ANDA (10 out of 10) Nine Inch Nails: The Downward Spiral (2 out of 10) Underworld: 1995-2005 (8 out of 10) Seabound: Poisonous Friend EP (9 out of 10) Wax Trax Best (4 out of 10) The Beach Boys: Today (9 out of 10) Richard Wagner: Overtures and Orchestral Music - SERAPHIM - Oslo Philharmonic (9 out of 10) Leonard Cohen: Best of (9 out of 10) Johnny Cash: Greatest Hits vol 1 and 2 (9 out of 10) Nirvana: Nevermind (7 out of 10) The Supremes: Best vol 1 and 2 (9 out of 10) Beethoven: Symphony no 5 - 8 interpretations - NAXOS- English Chamber Orchestra (10 out of 10) Notes: Depeche Mode could have been better but the cheesy selections marred an otherwise good comp, New Order's best stuff is not their singles, Same goes for Underworld, Leonard Cohen is great but 'Songs of' is better than the best of, The Beach Boys were the Smiths before the Smiths were the Smiths - listen to the guitars on 'She Knows me too well' - it could be Johnny Marr or Will Sargent or Bernard Sumner, VNV Nation is my pick for artist of the decade - their ballads might even be better than their club hits.
