You know.. you are all missing something... She spent 24 hours in an out of country rehab clinic. She got out.. then went and shaved off almost all of her hair...

She is going through a divorce.. complete with a custidy battle...

What better way to be able to pass a drug test than to get an oil change (complete transfusion) and then get rid of any other trace of drugs by getting rid of the hair you grew while cracked out...

Why is it.. why is a pop singer or pop icon's life any less valuable than any other? Why is her celebraty status any less valid than any other stars?

I mean.. we post RIPs for just about anyone else that dies... but Anna Nichole gets trashed like she was a subhuman and Britney is treated just the same...

How are they worse than Keith Richards? Jimmie Hendricks? Jannis Joplin? or any other famous person that has devoted thier live to bad drugs and being a camera whore?

if i saw anyone who looked like her who was normal, and had never had a minute of famousness in their life. . .i would still think they looked rediculous. why is brittany fucking spears gonna need to take a drug test anyway? is she gonna be applying for work? They aren't worse. Just fresh in our memories. A little nostalgia grows after some time has passed. I'd bet the water cooler talk when those others died was not always very pretty either.

I personally don't think these people's lives is any less important... but it sure as hell isn't any more important either. They are humans, under a lot of pressure. They crack. It's sad that so many fail to deal with. But... No one held a gun to their head to do what they do. Sadder to me is why we expend so much time and money idolizing these people when there are far more important things to be done with those resources. Like living life.

On a side note... I have a hard time living the simple life I have right now... I can't imagine dealing with all the crap they have to.

Really, comparing the two is so completely superficial in nature, it's practically like comparing a blue phone that someone painted white to a phone that was white for years.

The two have nothing else in common, aside from gender and the fact that they made musical media.

And when I say superficial, I'm not implying that the comment itself was necessarily shallow in nature, but that it shouldn't make a difference, because it's just one tiny tiny surface thing. It's sad that someone as amazing as Sinead was compared to such a pink-pop icon. Sinead is an activist, a person with standards. She's not "in it" for boob jobs and popularity contests.

But that's enough of that silliness. I don't want to start running my mouth about people I can't and don't know.

On topic... I think she looks horrible. It accentuates her tiny chin too much, she practically doesn't have one.
