Homemade Fireworks/explosives

Even though I do not and have no interest of playing around with this dangerous hobbie,but has anyone here ever gotten into the thrill of making homade fireworks and other explosive devices?

Share your experiences.like mentioned before,this is only for anyone who used to do this,but does not anymore.

We used to make Black Power bombs with duct tape and pill bottles. When thy got boring... you can only make them so big... we started making Nitro and a few other things... We stoped after our "toy" blew the trunk lid off on the way to the place we set them off.

I remember in elementary school someone blew up some of the boy's room toilets.

We used to make chlorine bombs, fill the bottle with rocks, and throw it into a pond near our house. The bomb would sink to the bottom, and when it exploded you could feel a rumble through the ground, and then you get that awesome splash flying up out of the pond!

5lbs of gunpowder put into one half inch thick cardboard tubing definately made some noise,let alone gunpowder was,nt that cheap

either.
