Onyx Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Read this question, come up with an answer, then scroll down to the bottom for the result. This is not a trick question. It is as it reads. A woman, while at the funeral of her own mother, met a man who she did not know. She thought he was amazing. She believed him to be her dream partner so much, that she fell in love with him right there, but never asked for his number and could not find him. A few days later she killed her sister. Question: What was her motive for killing her sister? Give this some thought before you answer. See answer below. She was hoping the guy would appear at the funeral again. If you answered this correctly, then you think like a psychopath. This has been used by psychologists to test if one has the same mentality as a killer. Many incarcerated serial killers took part in the test and answered the question correctly. If you didn't answer the question correctly, good for you, and if you did, I'm keeping an eye on you!
bean Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Woohoo, I got it wrong! I thought the woman killed her sister because she had a nervous breakdown after the death of their mother, went nuts, felt the need to kill, and her sister was the first person she saw. I thought the stuff about the guy was just extra info.
DJ Nocker Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 my friend told me that riddle in a mall while we were eating...i got it right and lost her appetite. lol....guess im gonna kill someone soon.
Der Nister Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 I thought the answer was - she found out her sister snagged his number and she went loco.
BrassFusion Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 I guessed that he was the funeral director... =/ I don't see how that makes me a killer. Just... logical...
GOREgeouslyDecorated Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 damn it! I knew I was a little (ok, more than just a little) off, hehe
Rayne Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 I knew it ... but I read a lot of Psychology. I had came across it before.
Velvet Tears Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Well, I was way off. I thought that maybe the sister was going through a transgender experience and found out that the sister was actually the "perfect" man for her. So, after finding out her sister was the "perfect" man and still being upset with the death of her mother, she killed her sister. I put a lot of thought into this question before scrolling to find out the answer. I think I put too much thought into it.
kellygrrrrrl Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Whoa.....crazy. I totally didn't even think that. How simple. Yet how complicated my mind went when pondering this. I thought the sister maybe hooked up w/ home boy and sister got jealous and went crazy on her. I also concidered that maybe it was over the mothers life insurance..... (I work in Insurance)
phee Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 I had seen that before... but I recall getting it wrong the first time I did it
maeve Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Hey there - I'm not claiming psychopath just because I got it right...I'm claiming intelligent common sense What else can I say?

I figured if she thought that highly of him they'd exchange information.
BrassFusion Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Hah! I'm "darker" than you, SG! I always knew it!
glc Posted March 11, 2007 Posted March 11, 2007 Uh, I think that maybe I'm a psychopath. Damn. Although, I am reading a book about psychopaths at the moment, so maybe I'm just in "that" kind of mindset at the moment.

Well don't worry about it then, cause you can claim temporary insanity because of that and blame it on the author.
