The Kanuck Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 I am looking into getting some new cd's. Trying to expand my library. I own alot of Techno, trance, newage rock and industrial and am looking into getting deeper into these or trying out new things. I enjoy everything, including some country and on the odd occasion even some hip/hop. Really depends. Anything would help, just list off some cd's you all enjoy and if I don't have them I will look them up and see about purchasing. Thanks for your help.
GOREgeouslyDecorated Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 The Dewtons hands down! They're punk rock and they're goal is to offend people - for example, here are some song title: "It's Cancer", "Coat Hanger Abortion"... it's histerical!
DeadBurgerKing (10) Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 The Dewtons hands down! They're punk rock and they're goal is to offend people - for example, here are some song title: "It's Cancer", "Coat Hanger Abortion"... it's histerical! Well, if it was punk you want it's "Guttermouth" you should look into...but you might enjoy "Aural Vampire"...they're a rather recent band that I found...
phee Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 Try "Blood Machine" by Steve Roach.... it is very awesome mindblowing ambient
Guest Megalicious Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 If you like Hip Hop my suggestion would be Eyedea and ablities "the many faces of oliver hart". That album is amazing. If you want I can shoot you a couple songs from it, call it a preview and if you like it I can burn it (though I do suggest you get the album at some point, the art work is awesomeness). Other Hip Hop albums I love (most of the coming from the LA underground scene, aww the Echo .. how I love you !!! ) The Grouch-Making Perfect Sense (simple man is the shit!!). THe Grouch- Fuck the Dumb Eligh- Gandalf's Beat Machine (also level 2). Awol - souldoubt There is a label called Anticon, they put out a sampler in 2004, it was fucking awesome, I have it some where around here. A bunch of mixed stuff 33 track of awesomeness!! Visionaries- Pangea My I also suggest some Psychobilly: THE NEKROMANTIX- Return of the loving dead .... ahhh I love this album If you looking for Punk, the first punk album I ever owned was "Black Dots" by The Bad Brains. Another classic.
