BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK here I come!!! Utah is calling me my friends. The summer shall be there. Heh. Unfortunately I can't make it home inbetween because my sis is getting married in Seattle. But my manager said it's even more beautiful than I'm imagining it to be. I love my life, heh.

When are the rest of you going to join the road trip?

Are you actually employed with the National Park Service?

If so, I'm fucking jealous. That's the job I always wanted. 'Course, I wanted to be an interpretive ranger...

Whoo Hoo!

Congratulations! Best job I ever had was at a nature preserve. I miss it. It was a wonderful experience (but you already know that).

Send us pictures!

I worked for the MI Department of Natural Resources. It was pretty nifty driving around all day helping people and telling them not to do that.

... Not the best job ... but one of the better I've had.

I could snag my kids and live that lifestyle for a while, right? Say yes. :-)

Mkay, I wanna answer everyone so hold on....

FierceCritter: I'm actually not through Park Services, it's a company called Xanterra that works with the hotels and such in the parks. It's who I worked for in Yellowstone as well...heh get to unburn that bridge at least.

Onyx: Thanx!! I'm excited. I need to get up and take pics of Tahoe, cause it really is beautiful. I just keep living the digi camera in the car.

Rayne: Awesome, what are you waiting for. Come on the epic road trip!!

Masterbleu: Of course darling, heh, you can follow me anywhere you want

BRENDA I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW! Heh, but you know how the seasons work. I'm like a tumbleweed. Where are you at?

Dollardave: Miss you too hon. And the club. I don't know when I'll be getting back but hopefully it won't be too long.

Steven: I hate it when you do things that are just like what I do. I've always picked up rocks...I actually found a good one from Tahoe at work a couple weeks ago. I'll start a side collection for you and drop it off on my way back through.

It's gonna be great people! I'm excited. Wasley was telling me about some of the stuff to see there and Zion is 78 miles away and Dixie National Forest is right outside Bryce. I mean, WOW! I love being in the middle of nowhere.

It happened just about a week and a half ago. I'm in Royal Oak. I love it here, and so do my kids!

I smell me a welcome home Erin and Flutterby party brewing......

and dang girl, but you and me are like two passing ships in the nite....

I love Tahoe. When I was a little boy my brother and I found a fresh water spring there, it was like magic to us, and there were all these teeny tiny pocket sized frogs around it...thats one of my best memories from childhood....

Steven you and yours need to come out to Bryce this summer for a vacation...oh the adventures we would have!! Venus casts your shadow there. I mean come on.

All I can say is that I live maybe six blocks or so from Luna.

Nope, she's actually in the process of moving at home right now. I'm trying to get her to come out to Bryce with me but I don't know if she will or not yet.

This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...

Well we were supposed to leave last night, but life has a way of making plans for you. I'm about to get up and get ready to go on our vacation. Had and still have a lot to do.  Not easy to just up and leave a ranch with a lot of animals and things that need taken care of. We even have people here to watch and tend things while we're gone, but still.   I had to change the radiator in my car before we leave - got that done last night. Took a lot more out of me than I thought it would, so by the time I finished I had little energy for anything else. Today I just have a couple more quick things to do on the car, like cleaning it and packing stuff. Couple of minor things to do around the ranch today, as well.   I figure we should be on the road this evening sometime. I'm looking forward to it. We're going to see the wife's side of the family, people I actually like,  in Vegas and AZ. Should only be gone for a few days, maybe a week. Going to the Grand Canyon and Lake Mead and all kinds of stuff in between, so I'm pretty stoked. I LOVE the Southwest.   Wish me luck that my car survives the desert! (Hence new radiator) 🤠👍

Sometimes sleep can be a scary thing.  I passed out so hard at 4:54pm today.  Yesterday wiped me out with rentals, appointments and helping a lost dog get back home.  Fortunately, I found him on Facebook and contacted the owners and he was picked up before nightfall.  But I think I totally overdid it and paid for it today in the middle of handling business.  Thankfully it was some work at home stuff.   I definitely do not like being that kind of tired.  It's like the World could end and I'd wake up afterwards trying to find out what happened.
