ok, so I went to get my license today and they told me that I had an open ticket in Novi - this came as a suprise to me 'cos I was told that my file was closed - come to find out that I still have an open traffic ticket in Novi from 2005 for $240 - WTF? I have called the 52nd District court a bunch of time to make sure that I have nothing open and they say I'm fine and now I find out that I owe even MORE money?? WTF?? that is fucking bullshit! this isnt the first time the novi court fucked me - one time they 'forgot' to tell me about a ticket and I ended up with a warrent and in jail - I cant even begin to explain how fucking pissed I am!! WTF? what fucking assholes!?!?

I had something similar happen to me once in AZ. Always keep your reciept of things you pay off....tickets.....fines.....so that if you get pulled over (it won't help then) you can show them......and then take it back to coart to prove you paid it and get it taken off your record.

I hear that sometimes they do this on purpose to get more money but personally I think its just bad clerks who can't do their job.
