yes i completely enjoyed being at the party i was at saturday night, standing outside, in the snow. at least it wasn't rain is what i kept telling myself. but when i went in the house i was just as wet anyways!

this is my fault for thinking of that prince song so much lately "sometimes it snows in april" it went from sometimes to "it is going to snow all april"

Odd, people run right to the Global Warming camp whenever anything odd happens to the weather.. but seem to ignore the Climatologists and TV weather people when they talk about something called El Ninya or El Ninyo or how ever they are spelled.. El Niya being the cause of allthe freak weatherwe are having right now...

the phrase "global warming" has taken on a political bent, i'll admit, but the words in and of themself don't assert human involvement.

that was just the next logical step most people took, and it's what the scientists have found themselves forced to prove out lately cuz people don't want to change their bad habits.

as for el niña... exactly what caused THAT? you could contend that it would happen without human involvement, but you could never really prove that.

do you think all us folks in the global warming camp REALLY want to be inconvenienced in the same ways as you? hell, i want a cleaner environment, but that's not just a selfish thing. it'd be good for everybody and i guess it's just a matter of time before some psycho anti-conservatives start to bitch that having a diverse fish and insect population doesn't do anyone good, so why NOT destroy their habitats if it means we can have more walmarts...
