You're right; it's about damn time. This idea that had been floating around of; you can go out and fight and die for our country, but we won't let your faith be acknowledged, was crap. I'm glad someone finally came to their senses.

When I was having my Dog tags pressed they asked for my religion, I said none. They said they weren't allowed to put none so I had to pick one. I said fine, I want Agnostic. They put none.

I don't see what the big deal is. Millitary grave yard or otherwise.

If you want bloody fangs and upside down crosses....go for it.

Its your choice. Or should be.

they did the same thing with mine (I was not yet a Christian when I was a soldier at 101)

I also remember (this was back in 84)

being in formation and getting ready to march to church if we wanted to. It was not forced or expected. I never once went to church when I was in teh Army. I also remember being asked (as a company) if anyone would be offended by a chaplain coming to see us in the field, and also being asked if anyone worshipped Satan.

By the way wasent the guy's name Louis Aquina, the Lt. Colonel from the Army that ran the Temple of Set? That was back in the 80's too.

anyway whatever, yes soldiers should be able to choose their faith or lack of one, AND place their marker on their tombstones, I have no issue with that. Your life is a symbol anyway.
