I never vote on these tiny local elections anyway. And she is pro life so she wouldn't get my vote anyway but.......

Thinking I would change my last names.

what does being pro-life have to do with running for the school board

When discussing highly visible positions like that, the board members political stances are often brought up. Thats is an influential position, i can picture several scenarios were a school board members stance on abortion might be relevant.

EVERYBODY'S visible and influential to some degree, and unless the person's actually in a position to draft or vote on legislation relating to abortion, i dunno... that sure is a bullshit newsletter, though.

I dont vote for pro lifers period. Anyone too stupid to see we have a major over population problem but can't seem to control ourselves is not getting my vote.

Oh and shhhh :secret:

I might go steal one of her little signs over in the school yard tonight because that name is so outrageous I must have it.

School board would be able to determine the health/science curriculum as relates to sexual health.

Ha ha, ha ha, ha ha. I knew there was something not Kosher about this woman.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP - A woman who ran for District 19 county commissioner in last year's primary election was arrested May 18 for filing a fake police report.

Marcella Slappy-Thrash, 45, was arrested on charges of obtaining, possessing or transferring personal identifying information with intent to commit identity theft, a five-year felony.

"She counterfeited a Clinton Township police report to try to get out of credit card debt," said Capt. Richard Maierle. After a five-month investigation, police obtained a warrant to search her home on Vaughn Street and recovered evidence against her, police reports said. According to police, Slappy-Thrash had falsely reported that someone was making fraudulent charges on her credit cards.

She was released after posting a $5,000 or 10 percent bond.

I would love to see the judge try to keep a straight face when she is sentenced.

but either pro life or pro choice....either stance can prove influential.

and I found Brass' response refreshing.

I think HH's explanation on the general need for the american dumbass to recognize overpopulation had the most depth thus far...(I tease)

i didn't think about it before tina said it, but i'd rather have pro-choicers determining health curricula. pro-lifers tend to make connections where there shouldn't be, between science and morality, for one... so they get the idea that the ends justify the means and use skewed science to convince us that abortions will give us cancer.

aw well, at least she's consistent....

I dont think you can expect humans to actually control themselves when it comes to sex. They will do it unprotected.

I used to think the laws in China were too strict.......only 2 kids per household. They can MAKE you have an abortion after that. But, It is WAY over crowded there....If I were in charge, I am not sure what I would do.

Really am not sure. I am all for human rights.......but........when do you draw the line?
