no no no no.. the butt cheese was limburger cheese...

then Chernobyl hit the nail square on the head with how cottage cheese is is made.

Combine the two, and a rhino shitting is what best makes the combination of cottage-limburger cheese. The tastebuds go crazy with suicidal thoughts!

Ooooh - pickled eggs. Yum. But only beet pickled. SO hard to find...

I really am amazed at the disgust over cottage cheese. Could it be ya'll have never had GOOD cottage cheese? Like, Breakstones? And I prefer large curd.

It's creamy, smooth, yum.

Canned pineapple has always been my topping of choice. But I've tried strawberries, fruit cocktail, even chocolate. Just about any jarred jam or jelly is decent. Overall, I prefer the pineapple.

Or even nothing at all.

A friend used to be amazed that people put fruit toppings on theirs. She only ever used pepper. I never thought of eating cottage cheese as a "non-dessert" type food before that. Still haven't tried it, though.

I never thought I was very adventurous about eating. But I guess I am if you look at a list of things I've at least tried:

Emu burgers - waste of money at a state fair. Not bad, but not worth the price.

Rattlesnake cakes - an appetizer at a fancy game restaurant. So much filler (bread crumbs, etc) that I still couldn't tell you what rattlesnake tastes like.

Alligator - mostly in the form of bites at places like Fishbones downtown. Seriously true to the "tastes like chicken" cliche. But add "gummy chicken". Really, why pay that much to eat GUMMY CHICKEN when GOOD CHICKEN is so much cheaper?

Venison - Whether a good roast, or chops, or smoked - yummmmmmmy.

Can't think of anything else "unusual" that I've tried...
