Freakers Ball

It was a good show, had a good time. Got piss fucking drunk (After I performed), then found my way home some how (no mean feat, I will -tell- you.

The bands that I caught were pretty fucking kick ass. AND... I got to finally see another metal band with a black vocalist. I don't say this because It's good to see someone black like me (Let's face it, there's no one who's black quite like me), but because more often than not people come up to me going. "Wow, I've never seen a black man sing that kind of music.".

K-awake was bad ass. They have a sound that's like Rage against the machine, meets Tool (Progressive metal with a heavy, outfront bass line), and the vocalist is pretty damned good.

Federal case was neat. They are what I would call experimental jam rock. I'm not sure about their vocalist (So I was making out with some chick and pretty shitfaced when they were playing, so I sort of missed it), but the music was good.

I caught a little of the next band, but I was so drunk by then I don't remember much.

Good times all around.
