People Need To Watch Their Kids.

The people I got this dog from are usually pretty good but.....it was grandpas dog and he used to leave the grandkids alone with him too much.

His back is shot. I found out he caught the kids riding him a few times. Man, if you know the kids are doing something harmful don't leave them alone with the thing they are hurting.

This poor dogs back hurts. He can't walk that easy and his back hurts every night. It pains me to see this.

I wish people paid more attention to what their kids are doing these days.

That's sad.

Have they had the dog's back x-rayed? If it has broken bones or a ruptured disk the dog may need surgery. Sounds like they need to get the dog seen right away by a vet.

That's terrible. Too many children are not taught that animals aren't toys.

:( Poor dog.

You might try giving him some back and hip massages. I had a beagle with hip dysplasia from over-breeding, and massages helped her to be able to walk without limping.

Ack. That poor doggy. If naught else, kids do need to be taught to respect the pain of other creatures--especially those we make part of our families. To loyally serve, to lovingly company keep, and to rest in the care of our smiling grace.

Haha, I agree...I mean I thought some kids in my generation were bad, but my god, even though I am not really that old I have even noticed a dramatic change in child raising! Okay so the 2nd or 3rd generations behind me seem to be okay but this year's Freshman! *dies* I mean, wtf is wrong with people? But oh it gets worse, i mean I know my town is not the greatest to show an example considering the prgnancies, STD's, and way too many minature whores, but I mean really a middle school girl stripping for a cigarette, not a carton, not a pack, but one, half-smoked cigarette...just...one...and she stripped and did a lap dance for it! XD I mean I had more respect for the girl who got pregnant at 13! *deep sigh* I really do worry for the future, with plotics and worl relations, as well as our economy going down the drain and then shit like this? (my point?)

I do not believe the human race will last much longer at this rate, let's pray to god a few people teach respect of others, themselves, animals, things, nature, and well everything!

Sorry it was something I heard some middle schoolers talking about at the library (a.k.a. where I work) and it bothered me to no end, I always hear shit I wish I hadn't...XD

[also side rant the social services program could be upgraded as well, like given the power to keep a child safer...because technically after the parents no longer shows threating behavior then the child can be returned to them...wtf?! I mean yes if they were accused of hurting their kid but there was no evidence but what about kids who have scars menatly, emotionaly, physicaly? What if the kid screams and cries to never go back? Why can't they be happy? Why don't they get a choice in the matter? And duh the parent will not abuse anyone if the kid is not around to abuse...(sorry have a friend in foster care and have researched variouse cases for a pre-meditated violence paper I did)

Okay I am done now...sorry...XD

Despite complaints about my strict fundamentalist Christian family (covers virtually all my anunts/uncles/grandparents on both sides of the family) one thing they don't have much of is , misbehaved brats. Your a kid, you don't know shit, and you better behave and s..t...f...u, or there be "hell" to pay. :verymad:

But seriously, misbehaved kids piss me right off. The kids themselves not so much, the slacker parents moreso. Most people i find shouldn't have kids at all, they aren't mature enough to run their own lives, much less raise a new life.

That might help if it's just soreness, but I'd be afraid the dog had serious injuries if a kid had actually been riding the dog. If there are broken bones or a ruptured disk it could hurt the poor animal worse.

Better take the dog to the vet as soon as you can if it's hurting like that.

My parents say one of the first things they taught me was how to treat animals.

When I was little we had 13 cats, a dog and a skunk.

(yep.. a skunk.. hahaha.. I am from Alalbama.)

Its terrible that some kids are cruel to animals..

..then ya know what happens?!?!

the animal BITES them, and now the kid is screaming "mean animal" and the whole situation COULD have been prevented if only there was training from parent to child.

I agree. We've ALWAYS had a dog ... or two ... or even three. My kids are used to it, but when I got the Chihuahua I STILL have to remind my kids he is NOT a toy.

I was raised with tons of dogs growing up. One of the first things I learned was to respect animals. If your going to have a pet, you need to know how to take care of it, PROPERLY.

I'm strict on my kids when it comes to ANY animal ... (frog, butterfly ... whatever, it doesn't matter). My kids aren't allowed to pick it up or touch it. "How would you like it if something 20 times the size of you picked you up and carried you around?". They can look, but they respect an animal, big or small. It's consistancy.

I have a problem with parents who don't realize that an animal IS an animal. Dog, cat, pig, frog ... it doesn't matter.

If your not consistant, what kind of message are you sending as a parent?

Tell me about it. My daughter works at Chucky Cheese. People seem to think that means she is free baby sitter....puke cleaner upper.....and punching bag because they paid a little more for pizza so their kids can play in a safe place.

They let their kids jump on her, hit her....pull her costume....and they stand there laughing while they do it!

They don't even tell them to stop.....

In fact, one guy encouraged his kid to try to steal another kids toy once......you would not believe what she see's. They go in the bathroom and smear poop and/or blood on the walls.....

I am helping her find a better job next week that does not involve food, or kids.
