I'm not sure i even have the ability to "hit on" anyone in the traditional sense of hitting on someone you might not know that well and/or aren't sure if they are interested in you. If it isn't crystal clear to me they are interested already, i don't bother. I generally just assume everything is platonic. Probably why I'm not "afraid" of hugging people and mild intaacy with people i don't know all that well. I assume its all on a friendship level regardless. I'm so deep into "The friend zone" its not even funny.

Sometimes I'm that way because I'm just not paying attention.....other times, I've pretended to not notice to see if the women will ask me out.

That has worked in most cases.

It seems, in my experience, women don't like it when they are attracted to a guy that isn't making any moves on them.

i guess this is a "pick up method"--

i once wanted to get back in touch with someone. my friend's ex ran into the guy's step brother... so i called him (the step brother). found out the guy i wanted to talk to again was in a band and playing that weekend at a local bar. i told my friend (the one with the ex) and she agreed to go with me. so i went... we started talking... started dating... got married.

too bad it is now ending tragically. i guess.
