Couple responses got me to thinking about this.

Post some lies told to you by potential or ex mates to get you to put out or just like them.

A couple lied about nationality.....like I couldn't tell....duh. One, because he knew I was into vampires.....so he thought if he said he was from Transylvania I would bite......lol......yah. That was a bad stinky pun. But the story is true.

I used to sing in a band and so I got this once, from someone who's last name was Fogharty.......

'my uncle is John and I can introduce you.....' (of Creedence)

And, 'I used to sing in this band or played with that band' (heard that twice from two different people, did research....and now EVERYONE knows they lie lol)

Oh and My dad is rich.......we just don't get along. But I get a shit load on my 21st Bday......he didn't. Not that I cared.

"I am a model scout" Lots of young women fall for that one, some end up dead. I didn't. My mom warned me about that one.

Oh and the ever 'I don't have any kids.' And you believe them until they get their checks garnished.

Anyone else?

this one asshole told me he had herpes, but he NEVER got an outbreak... i just know he was lying... ;)

Yup.

Or, you get told, "I love you" and they get a job out of state and they cheat on you after they proposed.

Yeah, long story.

unfortunetly, i have said said lie to one of my ex's... but that's because he said it to me first... nevermind the fact that we had only been seeing each other for 3 days before he said it.... that relationship only lasted a month before i left the psycho-stalker...

I have heard them all. Pretty much every single guy I ever dated lied to me in some fashion in order to get their way...then they were off like a dirty shirt.

Even if I felt it.......I would not say it.......nor would I trust my feelings that soon.

Even if I felt it.......I would not say it.......nor would I trust my feelings that soon.

I've got a 3 month minimum wait if they say it before then I dump them nicely if I can. 6 month wait if I see them less than once a week. Unless for some freaky reason I feel the same. As of the past 10 months and 3 girls I haven't felt much let alone anything I'd call love. But I can blame that on my trust issues and a series of bad and emotionally damaging relationships. But oh well.

I have a rule. I make him say it first and I wait 2 months before I say it myself. Works for me.

      This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...

      Well we were supposed to leave last night, but life has a way of making plans for you. I'm about to get up and get ready to go on our vacation. Had and still have a lot to do.  Not easy to just up and leave a ranch with a lot of animals and things that need taken care of. We even have people here to watch and tend things while we're gone, but still.   I had to change the radiator in my car before we leave - got that done last night. Took a lot more out of me than I thought it would, so by the time I finished I had little energy for anything else. Today I just have a couple more quick things to do on the car, like cleaning it and packing stuff. Couple of minor things to do around the ranch today, as well.   I figure we should be on the road this evening sometime. I'm looking forward to it. We're going to see the wife's side of the family, people I actually like,  in Vegas and AZ. Should only be gone for a few days, maybe a week. Going to the Grand Canyon and Lake Mead and all kinds of stuff in between, so I'm pretty stoked. I LOVE the Southwest.   Wish me luck that my car survives the desert! (Hence new radiator) 🤠👍

      Sometimes sleep can be a scary thing.  I passed out so hard at 4:54pm today.  Yesterday wiped me out with rentals, appointments and helping a lost dog get back home.  Fortunately, I found him on Facebook and contacted the owners and he was picked up before nightfall.  But I think I totally overdid it and paid for it today in the middle of handling business.  Thankfully it was some work at home stuff.   I definitely do not like being that kind of tired.  It's like the World could end and I'd wake up afterwards trying to find out what happened.
