I find it unfortunate that he didn't push this bill until he alienated everyone. Republicans didn't want to back it because it appears soft on illegal immigration, and Dems won't back it because they want to show solidarity against the Republicans because they feel it's the only way to win the election next year. What's the superior solution everyone's waiting for?
