Post Count Go Poof?

I know I said post count doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. And it doesn't.

But seemingly overnight, my post count went from something around 12,400 to what it shows now - somewhere in the 5,000's.

Awee shoot.

I didnt notice it until just now but i know what happened. To fix a problem with some jack.. er.. well anyway IPS did a "topic rebuild" which basicly just goes through and recouunts all the posts and topics and updates user profiles and such. Everyones count should be SLIGHTLY lower due to some posts being deleted and such.

But us old people from the old Spiral Board / DGN lost the post we had transfered 1000s of posts over from the old DGN to here. I'd guess that effects less than like 15 users and probably only like 9-10 that actually post.

If its still there i'll just add your current post count together with your last OLD DGN post count.

Gimi a little bit of time , i can do it right now since im just demoing a playlist , but im lagged a bit.

I know for sure that I was somewhere between 12,000 and 13,000 because with the new people posting, I did a few member searches in just the past couple days to see who might be around and about. One thing led to another and I started looking at all the different categories of people, different ways of looking at member lists, etc.

Just coincidental that I did that and then the post count thing happened.

That and somewhere in the "DGN forum" there's a post in the last few pages where I half-heartedly celebrate my odometer rollover to 12,000.

this is why i didn't say anything about this dealing with my old account... a post count doesn't say much but we all pay attention to it and compare it to other's post counts to ourselves anyway. It's like a status order that no one talks about heheh....
