I, and most of the people I know who have one, don't post really personal stuff. I pretty much just post major events in my life so the friends I don't talk to all the time know what's going on with me, or I use it to complain about my job or my car or things I don't care about people reading. The personal stuff either goes in a private entry or goes in my paper notebook at home. I do have a myspace page, but only because my boyfriend set it up for me. I never go on it.

My lj name, btw, is tygerlyli if anyone is interested. Mine is mainly friends-only entries.

I have an LJ and sadly I don't update it that much either anymore. When I did, I tried to be pretty general and less specific about certain issues, but some people decided to get personal and my child's mother reads my LJ. Unfortunately, since that time, my relationship (just friendship) with her has gone to shit, and we don't speak much anymore. It seems lately, the way to see my kid is through my mother or my sister, since she rarely returns my phone calls. My LJ name is kremisos

I have never understood why people would make a JOURNAL - which by definition is generally your private thoughts laid out for your own eyes only - public.

I have a blog on my myspace page, but I haven't been keeping it up. I'm not even that comfortable getting too deep into private stuff on there. My Myspace page

Yep. Same thing with Livejournal... you can actually make custom friend's lists, and either make the post totally private, or so certain people can see it....
