No one hates you. Not even me. We've had trouble with spammers in the past so we get suspicious of people coming in and posting things for sale on their first post. Consider in the future that you might first explain your situation then describe what your selling.

Something like:

"I know Windy from the board and she said it would be OK to post here... I've only got a few days... yada yada yada..." People would totally understand then. Ya know?

This place is not usually this unfriendly. Most people start with an introduction post so people were caught off guard.

We get hit with spammers a lot so sometimes people react a bit too harshly. I hope you don't leave.

I know how it feels to try to scrape together cash in a hurry. I'd have bought the X-box, would love to have it, but I'm in the middle of a move myself and won't have any extra cash for a couple months.

I understand your plight, but I think the price is a bit steep considering I could probably buy all of that stuff used at half the price. I'd be interested say if you threw in the TV for maybe $200 or not much higher than that.

I just wanted to edit and add that I'm not trying to be a cheap skate or anything. I can get a refurbished XBOX for $80.00 http://www.ebgames.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=909072

This is not used, but brand new, returned to the factory fixed and sold. Games can be purchased used for $5-$10. The pricing just doesn't make sense to me.

Yeah I had to check on ebay to get an idea of what people were paying for the regular Xbox system these days. Seemed that not much more than $100 was the deal with a few games and controllers. So I sold mine rather quickly for $100 with 6 games, 2 controllers 1 being wireless, and a couple of headsets. Don't know if you will have much luck selling for $170.

We only paid $30 for our X-Box with some games and a controller. We bought another controller and have bought used games since then and still paid less than $100 for it all.
