I've also been a Hello Kitty minion since the early days. I remember when I discovered the Sanrio store in San Francsico back in '85... thought I'd died & gone to heaven.

I really can't explain my HK obsession... I usually have no tolerance whatever for cuteness. So maybe there is some sinister mind control element going on here.

Now, what's REALLY warped is that Hello Kitty now has her own pet cat, Charmmy Kitty. Apparently Charmmy Kitty is the unofficial mascot of the (huge) Gothic Lolita subculture in Japan. I am eagerly awaiting the proud day when I obtain my first piece of Charmmy Kitty merch!
