Contrary to what they told us we are not going to NTC. Camp Hunter liggett is NOT NTC. our mission is to build up this camp to make it the largest reserve training center in the us. Obviously not gonna happen in these two weeks but you get the idea. Recently they reassigned my platoon to the 961st engineer company. 2nd platoon detachment. Which means in civillian terms that we are the bastard children of the battailion, which gives us cirtain advantages and disadvantages. Both of which are the same. What I mean is that we are completely forgot about because no one really knows who is in charge of us. It's good for details cuz they never bother us for them, but bad for anything adminstrative. For example they completely forgot to manifest us on a plane to get here. Also when we did finally get here they didn't bother sending any of the paperwork we need.

Oh well such is life in the army reserves. 14 more days!

Oh and I have no cell phone service here, so this is the best I can do for communication

What does the A.T. stand for and the NTC?

I'm guessing AT stands for something like "status" and "NTC" is an acronym for a fort or base in California?

Anyhow thanks for the heads up, its appreciated. I hope things go ok and aren't to stressful/irritating or otherwise pissing you off.

We haven't had shit to do this whole first week because the brass has their heads up their fucking asses and don't know which end to shit out of, and now they want us to start running 24 hour operations because everything is all fucked up! AAHHHH I hate this!. If ever they pulled their head out the pop would be like a 5.9 earthquake!
