Curled up, sleeping and dreaming

Visions of remorse, digust and pain

Search for a lullaby in the rain

Stupid mistake, cant take it back

Base one's morals on the fact

Make peace or remain in place?

Hide in the shadows or show your face?

A howling creature in the night

Against the thoughts, how to win the fight?

Scream and cry and you will see

There's a howling creature inside of me

Naivete re-defined

When blind instinct crosses the line

Cant shake it off, cant remove what was then

Cant take back what was lost back then
