Msterbeau Posted July 26, 2007 Posted July 26, 2007 OK... not the actual game... a trailer. Still... the graphics are amazing. http://www.gran-turismo.com/jp/movie/d944.html
Gaf The Horse With Tears Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Cell programing at it finest. Too bad it prolly wont ever get ported for any other platform. I'm not paying that much for a PS3.
Gaf The Horse With Tears Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 This is another game thingy with damn good graphics.
Msterbeau Posted July 27, 2007 Author Posted July 27, 2007 The people are what usually ruin them... They'll get that figured out sooner or later.
Gaf The Horse With Tears Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Crytec employs some of the best 3d programers.. if anyone ever gets people down.. it will be them.
Rayne Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 Ack ... I can't see it on the Mac. Boooo!!! Edit: I found it on YouTube in a version I could see! I'm always impressed when a new Gran Turismo game comes out -- the graphics just keep getting better and better!!!
Gaf The Horse With Tears Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 wait wait... the all powerful mac cant display a simple streaming webpage? Excuse me while I fall off the couch laughing.
Msterbeau Posted July 27, 2007 Author Posted July 27, 2007 I see it on mine.... She might not have downloaded the right codecs. (DIVX possibly)
Msterbeau Posted July 27, 2007 Author Posted July 27, 2007 Scratch that... I can't view it now either. Maybe they shut down the link to the file or took it down? Odd.
Shade Everdark Posted July 27, 2007 Posted July 27, 2007 The Gran Turismo series has been the standard by which all other console racing games have been judged since they began making them. While the graphics have always been top-notch for the system it is on, the focus has always (to me) seemed to be on the learning of actual racing techniques, and learning the peculiarities of the cars you drive. I don't know if this will be enough to make me want to spring for a PS3, but it's definitely a step in the right direction.
Rayne Posted July 28, 2007 Posted July 28, 2007 Scratch that... I can't view it now either. Maybe they shut down the link to the file or took it down? Odd. Yeah, juding from what Hirigana I can read on the site, it was taken down temporarily ... which would explain why I couldn't see it.
