I do as well, but I am leary about the location of the ISP having influence in the results.

The google analytics are going to be about as close as we can get to the "real" location of the user, it is a pretty smart system not easily fooled by confusions of intermediate routers/switches being the actual location of the user but the internet being what it is (a fairly anonomus system) such issues will occur even at the best of times as its offten litterally impossible to differentiate between somones "actual computer" and an intermediate router that might be located in a different city.

Also i think many people visit the site from work , and from home which will do funny things to the stats as most places of work are clustered around specific cities (detroit and southfield being big ones) and also there seems to be a lot of "technical services" people on DGN, which are also clustered around detroit/southfield/ann arbor.
