It was suggested that if Google had a black screen, 750 mega watts/hour per year

would be saved.

In response, Google created a black screen Google, called Blackle, same functions as the white version, located here:

http://www.blackle.com/

I think it looks much more elegant too, making it my new home page.

omg that is so FUCKING cool... cept i use the personalized google thing. =( i get weather and traffic and it shows my new gmail messages and news about video games gay people and knitting (yes, knitting). i wouldn't trade my iGoogle for even the blackest of goth search engines...

So why don't you write your own custom CSS script. It's so easy even you could do it!

Or just set your background color to black and your text, link, visited link, and active link colors to something light that you can read easily.
