I once had two fish that I bought as feeder fish for my friend's pet turtle. I named them Beef and Chicken (being the same colours oddly as your two babies), and the turtle wanted nothing to do with them, so naturally, I got attached.

One day, I got home from school (this was MANY months later) and Chicken went missing, Bubba (the turtle) had a sly look on his face, and Beef looked a little freaked out, (my interpretation of course). I took Beef out of the tank immediately, because I KNEW what happened to Chicken.

The sad thing was, Beef died that same weekend. I think from heartbreak and fright. *sniffles*

Apparently Bubba felt like chicken that night.. *sighs* I love animals.
