No Longer Homeless!

As some of you know, MS and I have been couch surfing for the last 3 weeks. We had to move out of our old apartment because of a pest control problem the management was unable to deal with. Since they gave us 4 days to move, we had no place lined up to stay.

Well, we got approved for a new apartment today. Yay! Now I can get my cat back and get all of my stuff out of storage and quit living out of bags. Plus, I get to see my honey everyday again.

Thats good to hear. I've been in many homeless situations before and its a hard struggle.

Yeah, glad to hear that. I too had been homeless off and on for 3 years. Did many nights sleeping in my vehicle in those days. One night I was sleeping in the park with the engine running because it was cold. An officer came up to my car and asked me if I was trying to asphyxiate myself. I told him that I was just trying to stay warm and he told me to at least crack the window lol. I surely don't care to have any more of those situations.

I'm actually quite relieved to hear this, for a few reasons.

But I had little doubt you guys would get the apartment. Pity it's so far out for me, but it ain't easy finding decent, reasonably-priced lodgings anywhere anymore.
