Msterbeau Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 Ever heard of them? You should. They do fantastic jazzy, latin-ish covers of many of my favorite punk and alternative songs. Some of it needs to be approached with a sense of humor, though... :-) Dead Kennedy's - Too Drunk to Fuck: Bauhaus - Bella Lagosi's Dead Buzzcocks - Ever Fallen in Love
LuluVox Posted August 23, 2007 Posted August 23, 2007 I like their version of "Marian" (Sisters of Mercy).
Scary Guy Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 DJ Glamazon (Mephisto's) introduced me to them. Awesome work I must say.
Troy Spiral (13) Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 I play their new wave "Human Fly" remake whenever i get an excuse. A minor issue with them is that they do a massive number of covers, and many don't realize they are covers and think its "a Nouvelle Vauge" song. Guess that's me hanging on to the last vestiges of my academic musical snobbery.
bav Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 Guy I met in NYC a couple of years ago turned me onto them. Fun stuff, and I've been finding some of their covers have been making it into some mashups I've came across.
