First off, I would like to say that I think the venue made its money back with that BS $20 parking fee. With the number of cars that parked in their lot, it had to have been a steal.

Well, I would have to say that Ozzfest was ok at best. I probably played more hacky sack than paying attention to any bands. It also had been a long time since I had heard Static X live, maybe since 2000 when they played with Godsmack and Pantera. Did anyone else that went notice how bad Ozzy is sounding nowadays? I think his concert days are seriously limited. Don't get me wrong, it was fucking great to see him onstage doing what he could. But he was SO off tune, out of sync, and totally winded every time he tried to sing. The band played down just to allow Ozzy to try and keep up lol. Desire, No More Tears, and even his new one I Don't Wanna Stop were not even played. What a bummer that was, but it was probably one of the final shows I may ever see him play in, who knows. Good number of metal bands on the second stage too with Behemoth and The Showdown.

20 dollar parking, wow.

That was a quick review , surprised your not in a coma and still recovering. Sounds like you put in a hard weekend.

Sad to hear Ozzy himself might be going downhill. But, its been a long run for him, cant keep it up forever.

Yeah trust me, I am fucking tired. I didn't get back home and into bed until 1:30am and I had to wake up at 5:30 this morning to get to work at 7. I am draggin much ass as well as being overly sore from standing all day and being in hack circles.

Yeah OZZ-FEST was good, but yeah Ozzy is probably ready to retire. We were able to avoid the BS parking fee,we had a secret weapon with us,considering it was bs for anyone to have to pay it,of of course the HRB Beer they had was way over priced thats why it called HRB Brand,(Highway Robbery Beer)Most of the other bands did good, and yes it took forever to get out of the parking lot, over an hour at least.

I had a great time! I thought ozzy did great considering his age and heatth issues and can you imagine how hard it must be to live on a tour bus at his age. He sounded a little off key yes, but only a few times. He did great for the most part. What an outstanding man to give so many people the oppertunity to go to this show for free! I just got done sleeping ten hours.....after that show, I really needed it. Headlessgoth and Morbid Suicide got a little banged up moshing in the pit during Hatebreed. The highlight of the show for me was watching the rain of sod while Static X played. I had pavillion, so I was one of the few that got to watch it and not get hit with it lol. Lamb of God rocked out. I think they are my new favorite metal band. I hope everybody else that went had a great time too!

Yeah I talked to Headlessgoth, Morbid and his gf just before Static X went on. Was on top of the hill on the deck playing hacky sack when a big chunk of sod came up and slammed onto it. The drunk chic playing with us ended up picking that thing up right away and flinging it back into the crowd down below lmao. Then the band came onstage and told everyone to cut it out like Pantera did in the early 90s for the White Zombie/Pantera/Megadeth show. I didn't see you there though, unless you were the one with Headless at the time by the concession stand.

I like when they said "grass should be smoked not thrown",LOL!!amen to that!!

The stage in the parking lot sounded like shit, you couldn't hear it very well and you couldn't see unless you were up close. That solo that zach did was fuckin awesome, it had to of been atleast a 5-10 minute solo! Lordi & static x were good too.

hey, i got to grab some hot female ass and see some women stripping, so i had fun!:cheers::swoon:jamin:w00t::drool

Well damn I don't remember having met you in the past though it probably has happened. It was nice to meet you or lack of! lol

I got out there around 9 just for them to tell me I had to turn around. The roads were closed and they weren't letting anyone in. Capacity/Emergency issues I guess. I really wouldn't want to have to deal with all that shit on crutches anyways, but I came pretty close....

that sucks if that would have to me i would have lost it i feel for you but would have like to see drunk chick play hacky sack lol

I would like to clarify that Ozzy is on his last leg, music wise. And I think he did a pretty good job. Good point Reaper the band did have to slow down to keep up with him.

The other bands I saw were all pretty good. Hatebreed was the shit!

The drunk chic that we played with bought her own hacky sack and had to have fallen almost half a dozen times, half of which was a dramatic falldown. She collided with a couple of beers and at one point we kicked the sack up and into someone's beer cup. It was hilarious along with the number of people who came too close to the circle and got kicked hehe

got there uber late but i still had a blast. my good friend J started the sod throwing on the left side between column 1 and 2. sorry if he hit anyone!

i'm still sore from LOG. I swear I was the only one that was balls enough to actually run full speed when our pit split for "black label". it's amazing i didn't die, my first pit in 5 years.

had a random experience meeting some cool ass people on the side of the highway on the way down, you'll see em on here soon enough ;)

now for the show, from what i saw of Static-X it was decent enough

LOG tore it up pretty good, dissapointed they didn't play 11th hour though

Ozzy did what ozzy could. Zakk's solo was pretty sweet too.

I rate the 3 final bands a 8/10.

I know the feeling! So get this, when I was stuck in ABQ I decided to re-activate my phone. Now, for years I have been running a Straight Talk Mobile Hotspot for wifi instead of paying for actual phone service, because I get more data for 50 bucks on the wifi plan than I would get for the same price for my phone plan, and I don't call anybody very often if ever, so it only made sense. Well while I was in ABQ I got desperate and decided I needed to make some phone calls so I walked down to Walmart to get a  45 dollar plan for my phone, only to realize that I had to walk back to walmart again (4 miles one way) to get a new Sim card, because the one I had was too old, apparently...  Anyway, literally the second I reactivate my phone - I got a phone call from a frickin' debt collector!  I mean it was so instantaneous that I assimed it was Straight Talk calling to confirm my activation or something - instead it was somebody with a foreign accent that I could barely understand, asking for whoever the person was that previously had the phone number I had just been assigned. . . I was so irritated with this fact.    And yeah now I'm getting multiple calls, daily, from everybody and their brother, looking for whoever the person was that used to have this number.  Wells Fargo, AT&T, etc etc.    I think there needs to be some better way of doing this. Recycling phone numbers as fast as we do this day & age isn't working out very well. 🤷

I have no idea why I'm even on all of these call lists that are on Robo-Dial by A.I.  One is a female voice and the other is a male voice and all they did was change the name that they give you.  I did get put through to a few live people to try to ask them to remove me from their list, but they, the telemarketer, hung up on me.   It's like I'm living "Telemarketers Revenge" for all the years of people handing up on them.   I always spoke with the telemarketer and then wished them a good day before hanging up.  And this is what I get for all of my decades of kindness.  I don't think I deserve this, but the World has lost a lot of the niceties that it used to have when I was growing up.  And no...COVID did not cause this.  I'm also getting tired of that excuse.  Its been 6 years!  People felt they were given the Green Light to be anti-social and rude to your face and now it is part of society just like everything else Mainstream adopts and considers it a cultural add-on.   I just hope I can survive this onslaught of calls blowing up my phone until it dies down.  Else, I will place a block on my number and only allow calls from family, friends and medical associated with my job.

This is crazy.   I had to mute my phone because I am getting 50+ calls a day regarding Life Insurance, Medical Insurance, Burial Benefits, a Senior Food Expense Card, a Senior Social Security monthly reimbursement benefit, etc., and I don't qualify for any of it.  I don't even meet the age requirement.   At current, I have 53 missed calls and 38 of them were from yesterday.
