He was tapping his foot while going to the bathroom. He was arrested by an undercover cop and some severe charges were brought against him. He plead guilty to a lesser charge to get it over with and not br drug through court.

So, if your in a public bathroom and tapping your foot... you must be a prostitute... cause they do that...

Really, it's too early to say, but it's certainly not an unconscionable idea, especially in the wake of the last two years.

How exactly is he a hypocrit? I've been doing some reading. He is accused of being gay ever couple years and noone can ever provide any proof of it. He has always denied being gay. He has voted against gay marrige... but I am not sure how that makes him a hypocrit as some gays oppose gay marrige.

i don't know... pleasing guilty to a lesser charge... people do that all the time. Courts are not sopposed to accept pleads unless the person admits to doing what ever they were accused of... lets see those court records and so we know exactly what charges were brought against him and what his plea deal actually says.

I am leaning toward witch hunt myself.

I listened to a story on NPR last night about this. The senator talked about being harassed by the newspaper. But they had a guy from the paper describe what they did and they held off reporting for a long time because much of the evidence wasn't corroborated until the news of his pleading guilty. I think the witch hunt theory is bunk. Could there be a conspiracy from some outside party or group trying to slander him? Maybe. I can understand his pleading guilty to lesser charges to make it go away. I did that in Windsor in a car/pedestrian accident. I didn't feel guilty but I was advised to plead. To many conflicting facts here to really know.
