Hey I'm like really depressed right now. It's our anniversary (9 years) and my husband is away working in Canada. He sent me flowers, which I didn't expect, but I am majorly depressed here. Yeah it sucks! Maybe I'll write some death poetry that usely cheers me up. :crybaby:

I know it's not easy to escape the perspective you're in, but try thinking about it like this:

You have a hubby, who remembered your anniversary, and cared enough to send you flowers even though he's stuck working.

Lots of folks don't have even that.

Well said, sir.

Ditto Shade's comment. It's so sweet he remembered and thought to send you flowers.

*big hug for LadyKay*

Definitely.

A 9 year relationship is pretty awesome. Yeah it sucks that you can't spend the actual day together but come on! You have something that a lot of people will never find.

:swoon Yeah I know. If we could live on love alone we would be the richest people in the world.

Its SO sweet that he sent you flowers.

What kind where they?

Im sorry about your situation.

Just look at it this way...you will have a good time celebrating when he gets home.

Gives you something to look forward to.

Congrats on nine years!

I know exactly where you're coming from. When my hubby was in the Navy we had to spend a few anniversaries apart too. I made the best of it & so can you. That was really sweet of him to send you flowers. But just think of all the the other anniversaries you'll get to spend with each other for the rest of your lives. Oh, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY. :peanutbutterjellytime::animier::animier::animier: Nine years is quite an accomplishment. My hubby & I have been married 21 years. I know you'll get through this. Keep your chin up. :grouphug
