There is the thing going on at Cedar Point.....they have Edgar Allen poe shows....magicians...fortune tellers....haunted houses...and rides! It will be my first year to this.

Anyone ever go?

Its called Castle of the Dead

It will be opening on the 28th of September.

Its on 28 Mile Rd in Lenox Twp

You take Gratiot to 28 Mile turn right on 28 and he said that its like right there.

The way he talked about it, it sounded cool as hell.

Halloweekends are the bomb!!! that is if you like haunted houses. and it's not as busy this time of year, AND it's not so freaking HOT

Thats about 2 minutes from my house. I seen it last year and it looked pretty cool. I definitly plan on checking it out this year.

I go every year I can. Last year, they had the "Fright Zone", which was an area closed off in the middle of the park with only one or two blue lights, lots of fog, and a crapload of people in costume just wandering around jumping at people randomly. It's tons of fun.

I don't even bother so much with the haunted houses, I just like the atmosphere and the way the park is set up.

Besides, the haunted house lines are usually really long, and not worth the wait.

I also hear there is a few good parties around that are costume, I know of one I wont miss......I get to see the puppet band again and will not forget my camera this time. I can't wait to see everyones halloween costume pics!

Well, if we go to any haunted houses this year I am NOT wearing a costume. Last year I had my Tiffany costume on, and had to crawl through the "mock swamp" in a wedding dress, high heels and a blond wig. Plus, I don't know if it was the dress or the wig or both, but every employee/monster chose me to jump out at or grab. Luckily my boyfriend is super protective and didn't let go of me the whole time.

I think I'm skipping it this year. Last few years I've gone nuts figuring out a costume only to be royally disappointed by the goings-on. This year I think I should just cut my losses early and save the money. Maybe I'm getting too old for this stuff.
