Destroit Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 Meh yeah I mean....they KILLED Jigsaw. Enough is enough. Also my Saw insider information (my best friend Lisa is huge into horror, and the Saw series is one of her favorites) says that it's being written by someone totally different. So right there I dunno, probably is going to doom it to suckyness. I have a feeling the entire movie is gonna be that guy trying to find his kid (don't wanna spoil for those who haven't seen the third one) and then just to "shock" people they'll probably both end up dying in the end, him and his daughter. I dunno, I might download it or maybe shell out two bucks to see it in the cheap show, but yeah it probably won't be as good as the others. But who knows? I've been known to have been wrong before.
phee Posted September 1, 2007 Author Posted September 1, 2007 The first one was actually pretty sweet
Destroit Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 The first one was actually pretty sweet Yuh huh, actually I liked all three of them alot, but I'm not getting my hopes too high for the fourth one. Even the third one, which I had a dismal attitude about at first, made me go "wtf...?" in the end (in a good way, you know, like it snuck up on me just like the first one). But I'm not gonna get too down if the fourth isn't as good, knowing them they'll find some way to tie some crazy shit in together and make it work. But if there's gonna be a Saw 5, yeah that might be considered overkill.

I know a lisa...... whos a big horror buff too. Wonder if its the same one?
phee Posted September 1, 2007 Author Posted September 1, 2007 It is sad when they beat something into the ground so much that it is necessary to attatch the "ibble" on the end of Horror
Destroit Posted September 1, 2007 Posted September 1, 2007 I know a lisa...... whos a big horror buff too. Wonder if its the same one? Naw not the same one. But I must say that yours is pretty badass since she goes by Chupacabra, and trust me the thought of that thing being out there in wild someplace...well....it keeps me up and scared at night.
creatureofthenyte Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 just a clear example of the greed of hollywood; they have to bleed every ounce of money they can out of a movie series, even if its at the cost of the integrity and or overall quality of the films.
Falstaff Posted September 2, 2007 Posted September 2, 2007 I don't know, it could be decent. It's not like this one is coming out of the blue, they definitely set something up in the last one. Whether it's about who the blonde woman was, or Robert the Bruce and his daughter, something was in motion. Could be interesting to find out. Of course, it could be a huge bowl of suck, too.
