Royal Oak Music Theatre

tickets are on sale through tickets.com only and dont go on sale until 9/8/07

I hope I can get 2 tickets to this. My niece loves this band and I want to take her as an early birthday present. Easier to do this then get her parents to OK her belly button piercing she wants.

I am a HIM fanatic but I think paying 28.50 for general admission is crazy. I didn’t pay that the last time I saw them and I had assigned seats. I also don’t like the fact you cant take cameras. I would love to see them again but I guess I am a little spoiled by all the cheap 15 dollar concerts I have been to recently. Why is everyone going to the royal oak music theater anyway what is wrong with all the sucky places in Detroit to see a concert?? Yes I know the places are sucky but at least it was cheaper when they did go there.

him is an ok band, but he's waaay too popular with the 12-15 year old girls by just doing remixes of already good love songs. He's good, but so fucking unorigional... yet anyone older than their teens would know this...

The reason I plan on going is to take my 16 y/o niece who loves the band and I do like their music. It's gonna be an early B-Day present for her. Only know of 1 of their songs that is a cover of someone elses music but I guess that could be cuz of my limited exposure to lots of music and not recognizing songs. But I'm not worried about originality as much as whether I like the song or not.

Eh.. I've seen HIM at the State Theater.

They put on an okay show.

Though, like you guys said.. I don't want to see any more 12-15 year old girls throwing their bras and panties on stage. :X

I know the feeling! So get this, when I was stuck in ABQ I decided to re-activate my phone. Now, for years I have been running a Straight Talk Mobile Hotspot for wifi instead of paying for actual phone service, because I get more data for 50 bucks on the wifi plan than I would get for the same price for my phone plan, and I don't call anybody very often if ever, so it only made sense. Well while I was in ABQ I got desperate and decided I needed to make some phone calls so I walked down to Walmart to get a  45 dollar plan for my phone, only to realize that I had to walk back to walmart again (4 miles one way) to get a new Sim card, because the one I had was too old, apparently...  Anyway, literally the second I reactivate my phone - I got a phone call from a frickin' debt collector!  I mean it was so instantaneous that I assimed it was Straight Talk calling to confirm my activation or something - instead it was somebody with a foreign accent that I could barely understand, asking for whoever the person was that previously had the phone number I had just been assigned. . . I was so irritated with this fact.    And yeah now I'm getting multiple calls, daily, from everybody and their brother, looking for whoever the person was that used to have this number.  Wells Fargo, AT&T, etc etc.    I think there needs to be some better way of doing this. Recycling phone numbers as fast as we do this day & age isn't working out very well. 🤷

I have no idea why I'm even on all of these call lists that are on Robo-Dial by A.I.  One is a female voice and the other is a male voice and all they did was change the name that they give you.  I did get put through to a few live people to try to ask them to remove me from their list, but they, the telemarketer, hung up on me.   It's like I'm living "Telemarketers Revenge" for all the years of people handing up on them.   I always spoke with the telemarketer and then wished them a good day before hanging up.  And this is what I get for all of my decades of kindness.  I don't think I deserve this, but the World has lost a lot of the niceties that it used to have when I was growing up.  And no...COVID did not cause this.  I'm also getting tired of that excuse.  Its been 6 years!  People felt they were given the Green Light to be anti-social and rude to your face and now it is part of society just like everything else Mainstream adopts and considers it a cultural add-on.   I just hope I can survive this onslaught of calls blowing up my phone until it dies down.  Else, I will place a block on my number and only allow calls from family, friends and medical associated with my job.

This is crazy.   I had to mute my phone because I am getting 50+ calls a day regarding Life Insurance, Medical Insurance, Burial Benefits, a Senior Food Expense Card, a Senior Social Security monthly reimbursement benefit, etc., and I don't qualify for any of it.  I don't even meet the age requirement.   At current, I have 53 missed calls and 38 of them were from yesterday.
