How Much Do You Like Dg.n?

I'm not sure if this has been posted, but I feel for Troy. There are so many people here, that come and post and find things to do and read. How is it, that Troy is struggling to keep DG.N alive? How many people go to city club and get wasted, but can't even give troy a dollar to keep their favorite forum afloat?

I don't want to appear bitchy, but I'm just concerned about Troy. He stuggles to make DG.N a home for all of us. When I'm here, I'm home. I know that I have kindred spirits here, and if I need a shoulder (figuratively) to cry on, someone here will wipe my tears away and bring a smile to my face.

I just wondered.. If there was someone who knew Troy personally, and went to City Club regularly enough to start a collection tin or something? I was trying to figure out a way to donate that didn't require a credit card, because Vivi with a credit card is DANGEROUS. lol. But if there was someone willing to like *pass the collection plate around* would people donate? And at the end of the night, when said trustworthy person is ready to go home, that said person would swing by troy's home to give the donations over?

Does that sound like an idea people would go for? Every penny would go towards making dg.n a place where we could always come too. A place when we're lonely, or bored, or happy, or upset, or all the emotions of a psychopath- that accepts us and encourages us to post. Post to our little hearts content.

I'm just throwing the idea out there, let me know what you think. And mods, keep this post here where people will read it. I think it falls nicely under DG.N business.

Tell me what ideas you can come up with to help Troy with raising money for DG.N. We're about to lose our board again, if we can't raise some money...

I wish I could help out finacially, but I can barely pay for myself let alone a website. But Troy knows I want to help out as much as possible, so I've been donating my time being a moderator and being on the Street Team advertising DGN. I mean it's the very least I can do for him. I reeally wish I had money to help...
