I don't think any genre of music ever stays pure. Eventually, as new artists come up, the sound changes as new elements ( or elements from other genres ) are introduced. .... and that's not a bad thing. Keeps the music fresh.

I find I go back and look through it every couple of years.

There are some gems of truthiness buried in the site - I will attest to the guide to dating a non-Rivethead. In there, I'm only missing the Backsteet Boys fan. /sigh
